Pastor Tim continues the verse by verse study of the Gospel of Mark.  We cover chapters 5 and 6 in this series.
We begin 2020 by looking at words of wisdom as found in the Book of Proverbs.
Christmas 2019 Messages
Part 2 of the Gospel of Mark subtitled "Servant and Savior." In 2019 the first 5 chapters of Mark have been  covered.
This short series from the Old Testament are stories of heroes of the faith as they played a prominent role in God's plan for redemption.  The intent of the stories are to keep the Old Testament stories alive. They are relevant for our lives in the 21st Century as well.
Included are a couple of messages that were shared while Pastor Tim was on vacation this summer.
Jesus made several statements of declaration stating who he is.  Each time he said, "I AM..." To make such a bold statement was to declare himself as God Almighty--which he is.  I Am the Good Shepherd, I AM the Light of the World, I AM...  This 8 part series will cover each of those statements Jesus made.
The home is under attack.  But as always, God's Word brings encouragement to all families who choose to live as God instructs.  This 8 week series covers many aspects of the family from marriage to parenting.  Join the people of FCC as Pastor Tim brings this timely series of messages.
Easter 2019
In preparation for Easter 2019, Pastor Tim led Leipsic First Christian Church on a journey from the Gospel of Luke as Jesus prepared to go to the cross.
The Gospel of Mark is the first of four different accounts of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mark identifies Jesus as both Servant and Savior. Beginning in 2019, Pastor Tim will off and on share a verse by verse study on this Gospel.
Christmas 2018. Join the congregation of First Christian Church as together we anticipate the wonderful season of Christmas.
The Old Testament's greatest leader: Moses was challenged with the overwhelming task of bringing the Children of Israel from their bondage in Egypt to the Promised Land.  But was he a reluctant leader? What about you? When God calls, how do you respond.  Watch as Pastor Tim makes the same argument that God made with Moses.

This series of messages are intended to be of help to those who may be going through hard times.  The messages are intended to help answer the question as to why do we go through difficulties in our life.
This is a message looking at David's beautiful Psalm and answering the question of whether God can be known. David gives a resounding "Yes" to that question as he writes about the 3 ways God reveals Himself.
First Christian Church is blessed to have  Mr. Jason Walls bring the morning message while Pastor Tim was on vacation.
The 10 Commandments. Are they something of bygone days or are they relevant today? By all means the 10 Commandments are as important today as they were when God gave the to Moses.  This series will take a look at each commandment and how they are relevant for our understanding today.
Growth is a part of life.  If you aren't growing you are dying. Drive round our county and you will see evidence of growth as the agriculture is doing well and growing. Growth is necessary in the spiritual life as well.  Pastor Tim shares a message on the need to grow in our walk with the Lord.
So who is Jesus? Ask anyone on the street and you may get as many answers as you do have people. But who does He say that He is?  In the 22nd chapter of Revelation Jesus teaches us something about Himself that may answer a lot of questions people have about Him.  Follow as Pastor Tim uses Revelation 22:16 to explain who Jesus is (according to our Lord Himself_
Because there are consequences for every action taken the imperfect Christian is vulnerable just like every one else. We all face consequences.  Nobody understood that more that King David. In writing Psalm 3, David offers help that he learned from his own experience when faced with his consequences.  Follow along with the people of FCC as they consider how to live with the consequences.
King David was perhaps the greatest king Israel would ever know. A young shepherd boy who grew up to be king, David certainly was a man after God's own heart.  But also surrounding him were 30 men/warriors, David's Mighty Men, who helped make him who he was.  God is looking for mighty men and women that he can count on.  Today's message is intended to help you become such a person.
As a followup from the message presented on May 6, Pastor Tim talks about another time when Jesus and his disciples were on the Sea of Galilee and something special happened.  This time it involved Peter and how he was able (if only for a moment) to walk on water.  How can we demonstrate the same kind of faith as this fisherman?
Pentecost Sunday has traditionally been a day for baptisms at Leipsic FCC. In preparation for this year's baptism, Pastor Tim shares biblical truth about baptism. It was on Pentecost Sunday that the Church was born and on that day. Peter and the disciples baptized 3,000 new believer.
Mother's Day 2018
We all struggle and being a Christian doesn't make one except from the downside of life.  Jesus taught a valuable lesson to his disciples in the midst of a storm they were facing (literally) and from it we can learn how to deal with storms of life.

Everyone wonders what happens next.  Everyone dies--what's next?  This 3-part series of messages are intended to shed some life on the three different realms of the afterlife as revealed in Scripture: Hades, Hell, and Heaven.  Join the people of Leipsic FCC as Pastor Tim brings to light the biblical teaching on these three realms.
The Book of Nehemiah has long been known as a study on leadership.  A former cup bearer to the King of Persia, convinces the king to allow him to go to his homeland of Judah to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem.  Faced with all kinds of opposition, Nehemiah shows leadership skills that can be translated to today's Church.  Join the people of First Christian Church as Pastor Tim teaches the book of Nehemiah.
As we finish up 2017 we gear up for the brand New Year.  God's plan for the future begins with the foundation for success: Wisdom.  Looking at Proverbs 17:24 Solomon teaches that there is a difference between the foolish man and the wise man. Simple lessons for the upcoming New Year.
Christmas is all about giving.  And obviously the greatest gift ever given was the gift God gave that first Christmas Day--His Son Jesus.  The purpose of this series is to call the church to the true understanding of Christmas. 
Are you a fan or a follower? Tough question. Maybe identifying your self as a Christian is plain enough.  But from what is found in the Gospels--Jesus isn't interested so much in fans. In fact he would rather a fan not identify themselves as a Christian.  He is only calling fully devoted followers to his team. Using God's Word and a book written by Pastor Kyle Idleman by the same name, join Pastor Tim and the FCC family as we work through the answer to being a fan or a follower.
 You may not know the name John Newton, but you certainly know the  name of a hymn he wrote: Amazing Grace. This sermon series is adapted fro David Jeremiah's book, "Captured by Grace." Not only does John Newton have an amazing story as a former slave trader turned minister/hymn writer, but his hymn Amazing Grace is filled with truth that teaches about God's grace.
What do Batman, Spiderman, Superman and "superheroes" as such have to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Well really nothing.  But it's fun to look at comic book superheroes and see them as fun illustrations to give support to the truth found in the Word of God.  Join Pastor Tim as he uses 7 comic book superheroes to illustrate several biblical stories with the hope of pointing others to Christ--our one true Superhero.
The Church is not a building nor is it something we do once a week.  We ARE the church.  This message is a development of that understanding.

2017 Mother's Day Message
No one loved others like Jesus.  His mission and ministry was to teach about the love of God and how to love God and others.  This sermon series is intended to look at the life of Jesus as recorded in the 4 Gospels and then, with Jesus as the example, learn to love like him.
Easter Son Rise and Easter Celebration 2017
Christians agree that Christ will one day return. Unfortunately we sometimes get hung up on some of the details that often get in the way of the fact. This is a simple explanation of the second coming--without getting hung up on the "minors" that can be so controversial.  The bottom line: Be ready!
January 1, 2017. Pastor Tim begins the new year with a message entitled, "New Year's Resolutions. Join with the people of Leipsic First Christian Church as they consider how Paul's attitude about life sets up the perfect guidelines for new year resolutions.

Stress. Who doesn't have to deal with it. This message is intended to help the believer deal with stress and together we look at David's prescription for stress from Psalm 4
The National Election of 2016 was perhaps one of the most heated campaigns in recent memory.  Many Christians wondered how they should vote. Pastor Tim shared this message with the people of FCC as they considered what their role in the election was.
How do we deal with the fact that every day we are aging?  This series of messages are designed to help every age group consider what God's plan if for everyone is, regardless of the season of life that they are in.

Of all the places to be, there is none better than at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This is a short series that follows the story of Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus who found that no matter what is happening in life, it is best to be at His feet.
Of all the promises in the Bible, this one in Romans 8:28 is one of those that will give us hope for the future.  Follow Pastor Tim as he leads the people of FCC in a study on this all important promise.
The early Church was a difference maker.  Beginning with 120 followers--simple people like tax gatherers, fishermen, and housewives; they took to the streets in the power of the Holy Spirit and changed the world.  As a result, God's Church was born and it was a life-changing movement.  Looking at the first 6 chapters of the Book of Acts, this series of messages point out the strategy of the early church that turned the followers into Difference Makers.
All through the Gospels we read over and over about the times Jesus amazed the people that he was ministering to.  But did you ever stop to wonder what amazed the Son of God. This short series of messages identify the 2 times in Scripture that our Lord Jesus was actually amazed at another persons behavior.
